A happy list to finish off the week.. from the loveeely blog anthology enjoy!
1. Travelling by train -- it makes me feel like I'm in an old black-and-white film.

2. Swimming in the adriatic -- it's so warm you can stay in for hours, and so salty you can float for days.

3. Dancing -- doesn't matter if it's in my living room or an open-air nightclub in Budapest.

4. Outdoor concerts -- even better if it's !!! (chk chk chk), the best band I've ever seen live.

5. Walking through the forest -- love the light through the trees, the quiet, the calm and the scent of evergreens.

to finish up a really busy week - a happy list! hopefully these will become more regular once again soon... but for now: this one belongs to Natalie who runs the always inspiringdaily imprint blog. enjoy!

1. The smile on my little C’s face – he is almost nine months old and he is at such a yummy age. He has fattened up a bit and still has super soft skin so he’s a delight to cuddle. And when he chuckles I forget everything else around me.

2. Buying books, especially loving the recently released Penguins with orange covers. I always say to myself that I’m not going to buy any more books until I’ve finished the unopened ones on my bookshelf. But I can’t resist. It’s one of my biggest weaknesses.

3. Travelling – fave cities: Paris, New York, London, of course! Every year I try to plan a holiday somewhere. I can’t understand people who don’t like to take time off, or say they’re too busy. I’m super busy but I always find the time. It’s incredibly important for me because when I’m on holiday – especially when it’s in another country – I let all the day-to-day realities of my life fade away and submerge myself in this altogether different and fantastical world. I would rather forgo having a large house or designer clothes to be able to travel overseas every year.

4. Receiving my mag subscriptions in the post – Vanity Fair, Dumbofeather… - and buying magazines too. Another happy weakness. I get such a thrill as I start turning the pages. It’s like a slow tease.

5. Eating cake – I have such a sweet tooth and as soon as I returned to work from maternity leave I checked out when the first staff birthday was so I could know when we’d be having cake next. I have to wait until May before I can select one of my favourites: blueberry cheesecake from David Jones. Mmmm. Cheesecake.

i have convinced myself that my boyfriend and i are going to paris this year. for the past week i have been daydreaming on flickr and blogs here and there noting some must visit places. but i would love to hear from any of you if you know and goodies about paris? and what is a good length of time to spend there? travelling all the way from aus im leaning toward 3 or so weeks... maybe squeez in some other pretty places too. really dreaming now!

also i would love LOVE to thank you all for the beautiful and encouraging comments to the post below. its definatly something i wish to begin... now! i can't thank you enough!

for christmas i receved this tim walker pictures book. its huge and i loveee it. so here are a few pages for you to have a look at for now.

also i bought myself a little book called the goddess experience by gisele scanlon i lovee this one too and it has inspired me to make my own happy list. so every so often i will share something that makes me happy. (most of the things i post already do make me happy but these posts will be more specific..) I also hope to get some of the people who most inspire me to share some things that would make their happy lists! so thats just a little addition to the blog.
